Highly recommendable! We stopped by chance and it was great! Loved the vibe and the place is beautiful. Food was also super good! Since the portions are quite big, we didn’t order too much, only the loaded wedges and the plant-based burger, all delicious. However we wanted to try it all!
Great restaurant / pub located inside Cardrona Hotel.nThere is also a beer garden inside with a large fireplace and several glasshouses, as well as a playground for children.nRequires reservation as it gets full quickly.nOffers all-day food, from breakfast to dinner dinner menu from 6pm. All menu available on their website.nPortions are very abundant -- do not order too much! We had apres wedges, nachos, green bowl and chicken burger and everything was delicious! They also have a limited kid menu with chicken nuggets, burger and fish fingers.
Food is super good, and the atmosphere here can not be beaten! We got the loaded wedges, frickles, and southern fried chicken. Portion size is very good too.
When we visited the bar, the tap beers were not available because the beer servers didn’t work. That’s why I gave 2 stars. Otherwise I would have given them 4 stars.
This place was extremely solid and beautiful. The decor made me feel like I was walking in to an old western saloon mixed with an Irish pub in Killarney. The food was really good and I LOVED the Bao Buns with brisket, they were delicious. We actually stop again on the way from Franz Josef to get them again. You have to make this place a stop if you are touring the south Island.
