A must see if you’re in town. A piece of architectural genius. Read about the construction and design of this building to understand why it’s so interesting. Run by volunteers who are happy to explain how this project was created. There is also a small souvenir shop right at the entrance.
Great welcome from the volunteers and a lovely service from the Priest and members of St. Luke's. We just turned up as tourists Eucharist at 12.05 each day and left feeling valued. We wish you God's Blessings. From St. Mary's in Durham, England.
This place is amazing! If you're architecture lover, then this cathedral must be on your list. The exterior look simple but the interior will amaze you.
No tickets are required. This is the church referred to as the 'cardboard cathedral'. You can see the walls and ceiling are made of cardboard along with many of the other furniture items. The building is unique because of the materials used to build it. It is a very interesting structure and worth a visit, even for those amongst us who are not religious. Lovely volunteers manage a delightful small shop at the front of the building.
Beautiful and serene, quietly moving too. Smaller than I expected but still had a real presence. Powerful story of community. Amazing that the stained glass of the original cathedral was captured to be replicated too
