Small car park, with limited and tight spaces. We felt lucky to get the last one available, and we were there off season on a week day. Glad they had toilets available though - which is great for those on a road trip or at the beginning or end of a hike.
This free car park is very convenient for tourists who drive long journey to visit this well-known fall. There are about 30 parking lots, actually that is not too many but i think good enough. If you select Whangarei Falls as your destination, you may miss this car park. That's why I suggest to add this to the map for your convenience. Enjoy! :-
Close to river and fall, easy access, enough space
We found spots but it was 2pm on a Friday. There are restrooms here and it’s about 100 feet to the waterfall
We stayed here with our campervan, and the sight is beautifull. Unfortunately the toilets were not to clean and closed at 9 PM.
