We are an Auckland based team of photographers, who love to capture the moment. We specialise in wedding and portrait photography in and around NZ and beyond. With over 15 years of experience in the photographic world, we would love you to challenge us with a new project - whether it be getting your cute but unco-operative two year old to join the family photo or record your big day, the way you want it, without formal structured "cardboard cutout" poses. Our passion and desire is to photograph each unique wedding story, experience or life journey without intruding on the moment. And we like to have fun while we are doing it, so be prepared to laugh your socks off! We look forward to meeting you and learning how you want your memories captured.

I have no enough words to express how fantastic Capture Photography are!! Victoria and Millie are great and made a great memory for me to cherish forever at my newborn photo shoot. Not only was the shoot incredible it was professional and personal and I felt at ease with my little boy being under their care. The pictures were fantastic and emotional to see how they had captured my son. I will cherish them for forever and will be back to capture milestone birthdays. Thank you so much!
We recently did a cake smash shoot for my youngest daughter’s 1st birthday at Capture & I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, both Victoria & Milli were so lovely, friendly, professional & accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble & they captured excuse the pun! my vision for the backdrop, colour scheme, cake & balloons, etc. perfectly. They go above & beyond to make sure that everything is just right & that everyone is at ease & nothing is rushed. They were great at entertaining my daughters aged 1 & 2.5, so no mean feat! & getting the best out of them for the photos. The studio is lovely & they have the most beautiful little outfits, flowers & accessories too. I wish we’d known about them before as we would have had both of our daughters’ newborn shoots here instead but we’ll definitely be back in the future as they have become our go to place now. Thank you Victoria & Milli!
Absolutely fantastic newborn experience with Victoria and Milli. I was invited for a quick chat before the session which was a fantastic way of meeting the ladies and seeing the space as it was one of the first times we were venturing out with baby. Milli is the baby whisperer, bubba was so calm and content throughout the whole shoot thanks to her calming nature and gentle touch. So many colour palettes and options to choose from to make the shoot how we wanted it. Lovely touches with refreshments for Mum and Dad as well! Really great communication from Capture on both email and text and very flexible approach with bookings and returning for our photo viewing only one week later. We got to take the images away on the same day which was so exciting. The quality of the images are fantastic and it was so hard to choose between them! The prints were beautifully packaged with a handmade wooden sign of babies name as well. Highly recommend Capture to anyone looking for their newborn shoot.
We heard about Capture through close family and friends who had baby photos taken there. At the time, our daughter was 5 days old and from the moment we walked through the door Victoria and Milli were so welcoming and the whole experience was amazing. As new parents we were a little worried how our daughter would be in that situation but the set up was fantastic it had soft music, a warm room and Victoria and Milli had all the know how of how to make our baby feel calm and was able to get all the photos without any real mishaps. When reviewing the photos we can honestly say that they came out amazing and has given us memories that will last forever. We couldn’t recommend them enough and look forward to having more photos when we have our second!
Victoria and Millie have both been absolutely incredible with taking our baby girl’s pictures during her first year! We’ve done a Christmas and birthday shoot and will 100% be coming back again for more pics! Our daughter is so comfortable with you both now and you know just how to make her laugh/ smile and capture those amazing moments! So professional and the pictures really are stunning! In June I gave birth to my little boy and last minute decided I would like to get a newborn photoshoot done and I'm so glad that we did! Our experience was truly wonderful. The studio is so beautifully set out with a relaxing and calming vibe. Victoria and Milli made us feel so welcomed from start to finish and they were just amazing with my little boy! I can't thank them enough for the amount of kindness they have shown me during the whole experience. I would highly recommend Capture photography!!
We recently took family images at capture, it was an amazing experience. Our images turned out absolutely amazing. We are Grateful for the effort and time spent trying to capture our three little children which I must say was done effortlessly. The children loved Victoria and Millie which was a bonus. We will be back in the near future that’s for sure!
I booked a cake smash for my daughter’s first birthday in September.I was after something really particular for the cake smash so I reached out to Victoria and Millie to see if they were able to bring my vision to life. They invited me into the studio for a consultation and to go into more details as to what I wanted and reassured me that it would be done. On the day of the cake smash we were all blown away as they had created a beautiful balloon display with flowers which went beyond my expectations! It was exactly what I wanted and much more. There was a range of lovely outfits and headbands to choose from on the day and we managed to have three outfit changes. Victoria was very quick at capturing the photos whilst Millie kept my daughter entertained. The photos turned out amazing and there was no question that we had to choose them all at our photo viewing! Thank you so much Victoria and Millie we can’t wait to have another photoshoot with you again soon. If you’re thinking of having a cake smash, newborn shoot or even some family photos I would definitely recommend Capture Photography!
I have done both my children's newborn and family photos by capture and it has been an absolute pleasure, the whole experience was so amazing from the photographers, the company, the professionalism and all round great atmosphere. You will not be disappointed from start to finish end result, I would 100% recommend to any and everyone. Thank you for an amazing once again x
