Hidden gem. Easily the cheapest and good quality food in town. Visited at night and there are 5-6 stalls open. Korean, Steak, Chinese, Vietnamese, Sushi, Northern Chinese. Some stalls did not accept credit card. The art work around is amazing.
We unfortunately haven't been here for 5 to 6 years but the food is still very yummy and there are many different types to choose from. The shop staff are especially friendly and helpful.
Came for an early lunch... tried the korean street food. Yummy
Awesome to have returned back to this Place, great memories
My love for Capital Market only grows as time passes. Now with only several stalls holding down the fort, Capital Market isn't as popular as it used to be. I now consider it a hidden gem that people need to rediscover. Even though there are only a few stalls left, they all do such exceptional food that you really can't go wrong with what yoyu choose. My two favourite places here are Noodle Man, who specialise in Chinese noodle soups and Lemongrass Kitchen, one of the cheapest and heartiest Vietnamese places in all of Wellington. Noodle Man was my consistent favourite place to go when I needed some hot soup for under $18. You can get their cheapest bowl of noodles that for around $11 which is vegetarian friendly. Lemongrass Kitchen is one of the best for value Vietnamese places you can find in Wellington. You can get a decently sized bowl of Pho for only $14 !! Their dumplings were amazing that I nearly went back to order more I did not as I was so full from my meal but, the temptation was there! Please support Capital Market. They just need redecorating and maybe some music so it doesn't feel so quiet. I would hate to see this place disappear.
You can try oriental foods here. I love Vietnamese Banh Mi with ham and beef. The chef cook very well. Will come back with my family and try all.
Place looks interesting. I only went there once and tried some Korean dishes. I personally believe it was a bit expensive, but isn't the cost which puts me off, it is the quality
Great little place for all kinds of Asian food. It's very similar to high street eatery on Christchurch except for Asian food. Nice, cheap, tasty, what more do you want?
Used to be good. But many restaurants closed after covid. Sad.
Looks like a great collection of Asian food. The food smelled great but we didn’t end up eating there. Hygiene standards did look questionable.
