Quail eggs arrived safe and well packaged. Communication was great. Delivery to North Island was overnight which was awesome. Thanks so much! Today we test cooked a dozen of the eggs for timing... they cooked lovely - medium boiled exactly 3mins. I will present the rest in Canapés for a wedding I'm catering. I will post photos in an update of the finishing product.
The bonesless roast was very disappointing, stuffing was bland but the main issue was the layer of processed “brown” at the bottom. I hoped it was brown meat as that is my favourite part but it was more like a sponge of brown. We tried to make the most of it but this will be the only leftovers this Christmas that get binned.
What a disappointment to do business with this company this year! They've demanded a 50% deposit on all orders for December, in August already, but do not mind if orders aren't delivered in time. NO effort is being done from this company's side to even try and assist customers, if they didn't received their order. Didn't have these issues the previous years and as a long time customer this is such a huge disappointment.
I purchased three rolled stuffed turkey breasts...Cranberry and Apple stuffing!...and cooked them exactly according to the instructions...absolutely delicious. Top marks for flavour and tenderness. Thank you Canter Valley..I shall return. Merry Christmas to your hard working team.
Roast turkey boneless, with apple-cranberry stuffing. Purchased frozen for $56 at local gourmet grocery. Roasted per directions. Rested as per directions. End result: meat unusually dry. Stuffing thick but more edible than turkey.
Placed an order to try to get it before a specific time. One week after placing the order I contact them and they tell me they have not processed my order. Very disappointing service. Won't order from again
Been dealing with these folk for several years now, great customer service, always delivered promptly and product arrives in Tip-top condition.
Awesome products, delivered frozen in freezer packs. The Turkey was amazing 10/10
One of the best duck and quail is NZ. Very good product. 5 stars.
