About Us:
Candi Soo Fitness is a specialist personal and group fitness business. It originated in Melbourne, Australia, with subsequent development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, giving a well rounded international quality to the business. Candi Soo has developed a novel approach with a unique range of training programs.
Candi Soo is the first fitness personality in Malaysia to commercialise her status as a national title holder.
Candi has spent over 30 years in the fitness industry, beginning as an aerobics instructor in its inception years in Kuala Lumpur. She won the Reebok National Fitness Title in 1993 and went on to train and study in Australia for a period of 15 years. Industry qualifications that Candi has attained in addition to her years of experience include the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation Fitness Instuctor certification, a personal training Diploma from Victoria University, Les Mills Bodypump and Body-step instructor, numerous certifications in a variety of bell group fitness disciplines including Fitball and Pilates.
Her competence has been further recognised by the various posts she has been appointed to including chairwoman for the KL Bodybuilding Federation, 2004, Women's Sports Representative in the Women's Sports and Fitness Federation of Malaysia, judge and master trainer for the National Fitness Council, and her selection as presenter at the WSFFM fitness convention at the PWTC in 2004 and 2005. In addition, Candi has recently been the Malaysian and Singaporean Master Trainer for the “Gymstick”, a new fitness product out of Europe.
