Our loved two boy kittens went for neutering. Came home slightly drowsy but by afternoon were flying around again could not stop them. We were very happy with our experience and found all the staff to be lovely. Very pleased with the professional service we had and the way they looked after our fur babies. They are very good and are a British company and based in Cheshire.
Friendly staff, the vet was very kind to my cat and patiently explained what I needed to know. Great waiting area and tidy/easy access exam room. Good access to the clinic and ample parking.
The Staff are Amazing. My normally fiesty biting, scratchy cat just melted in vets arms, and she allowed herself to be carried round room resting on vets one arm. My cat was not stressed by experience at all. Thank you xxx
Our normal Vet had decided to let all their Vets who can do the new, post Brexit, Animal Health Certificate go on holiday at the same time not clever so ... we arranged an appointment with Vets4Pets. Before you arrive they require you to fill out a form that includes, crucially, the chip code for your dog. This I took great care to ensure was correct. The appointment went as expected, albeit rather quick for something they charge around £220 for. All seems fine until we had to return home. We were in Italy and you have to have a vet certify your certificate and adorn it with proof of a tapeworm pill having being administered. He was incredulous. The UK vet at Vets4Pets had gotten the Chip number wrong. He initially refused to administer the medication. "How can I be sure this is the same dog?". He also used some uniquely colourful Italian phrases to describe the competence of whoever signed off this form. I won't repeat verbatim. Essentially he stated this was really the one thing they HAD to get correct. He took pity on us and we headed off through France to get to Eurotunnel in Calais. We were refused entry for our dog back to the UK. We missed our designated train and spent hours trying to invoke the same pity that our Italian VET had eventually shown. Several hours later we were allowed to get on one of the last trains back to he UK. Anyone familiar with the Calais site will know there is but a small piece of AstroTurf for dogs, no bigger than a standard bathroom in the UK. We had to spend so many hours at this small spot. So we were exhausted, stressed and had a dog that was similarly vexed. On getting home I called Vets4Pets. I explained what had happened. The receptionist insisted she would get her "manager" to call me. Three days later I called them back. Nothing had happened. I eventually got a complaints process set in motion. Weeks later I got told they accepted they had made a mistake. They suggested as "compensation" they would give me back the money I had paid. I was clear that this was essential because they had failed to do their work but that this could not be considered "compensation". Having explained what I thought was reasonable, they then, days later, rejected this. At no point did they put in writing that they apologised for the mistake or the distress caused. The only apology was for them being hopeless at responding to the initial complaint. I was apparently not a candidate for any financial recompense because I had not incurred any additional costs: just personal stress, wasted time and an exhausted and terrified puppy. So, having read this and contrasting that with their mission statement, I would urge caution for anyone entrusting their European vacation with a pet to this organisation. No apology, no actual compensation and weeks of delays to simply work out that two numbers were not the same. Never, ever again.
I required a quick appointment for my Dog and they accomplished this task. The Vet listened to what I said. A immediate and accurate assessment, analysis, diagnosis and treatment was very reassuring.
Always fantastic service when I have took my cats in…never feel rushed and feel completely at ease when you leave them for any treatments etc…wouldn’t go anywhere else now
Very good experience. Vets were very professional and treated Patch with great kindness. Lady on reception was very kind, I'm disabled and use portable oxygen. She was kind enough to take a chair to the main entrance so I could wait for my taxi home. Can't praise them enough. Thank you all.
Staff always friendly and accommodating. Have never had any issues. The vets are always great with my pets.
Caring veterinary and support staff nothing seems to faze them. Good selection of products on sale and reasonably price.
Just want to say a huge thank you to the lovely receptionist who was working here on 14th May 2022 in the morning. Despite of being on her own at the reception, and having a very busy time, she remained very calm, and polite. Sadly didn't get the name of the lady, but would like to say that it takes a lot of skills and an effort to be able to deal with such crowd, and to get things moving. Thank you
