Fuel, gas refill, and dog wash all in one! The staff here are extremely efficient and had no wait during peak holiday time. This is the only gas bottle refill station in Alexandra.
Car wash is weak. When I mentioned to the guy in charge he said it was the cheapest was and is for 'dust only ' although it doesn't say that when purchasing. To his credit he gave me another wash for free. But it still left heaps of dirt. These 'soft washes are pretty hopeless and not recommended.
Your find subway Domino's and other food places close by. Best thing I like about Calex Alexandra you can hire trailers log splitters and the staff are always helpful.
Staff at the counter was so lovely, offered discount for air points. She noticed my Gold card and an offered further discount. As an out if town visitor I found this very helpful.
The man working here was terrifying; overweight, sweaty, aggressive and nasty. He looked like a gang member. My advice to tourists is to not stop into this town - just keeping driving. It's one of the roughest towns I've visited so far.
