I love Cafe Turquoise in New Plymouth, so when I was visiting Hawera I was excited to learn there was a Cafe Turquoise. The chicken salad is my all time favorite, and prepared perfectly. Always large portions for good value. The meat is actual meat, and not mush. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Recommend 100%!!!
Highly reccommend the Chicken Iskender plate. Just got one takeaway and it was fantastic. Delicious well cooked chicken and fluffy rice. Hubby loved his Meat on fries.
Man cool! Will definitely be coming back here heaps with my kids! Awesome, quality fresh kai, awesome, friendly service, clean, spacious and just cool! A cool vibe from the staff, Def recommend to anyone wanting a decent, healthy, fresh feed.
Rabbi has the best customer service! After a long day of stress on the road. I finally got a delicious chicken salad with all the trimmings. Chicked cooked to perfection, huge serving, could've fed two people. And Rabbi was there with a smile. Good stuff
Real authentic cuisine, which I can say that cause my roots from there Homemade dips + bread, juicy meat & an inviting atmosphere. Have a good time enjoying your fantastic kebab here P.s.: Same reference to the one in Hawera!
Very nice Turkish food cafe. We usually opt for one of their kebabs which includes 1 meez and choice of 2 sauces. I usually go Russian roulette because my knowledge of Turkish quisine a bit limited but thus far I only had good ones. Spacious eating space with friendly staff. Prices are reasonable - you should be able to get a good combo for under $20 with a drink included.
Would dine here daily! Had a family dinner at Cafe Turquoise. The mixed meat and fries was great value, well cooked and very tasty. My daughter who is a real meat eater loved every mouthful and could have eaten more.
Food is authentic. Good service. Chef is good to talk to while your food is getting ready. Chef has good knowledge of Turkish cuisine.. Had a really good experience. Well done Mehmat
The best kept secret in Hawera. We dined here tonight. Awesome food and top service. I had the lamb on fries really because I'm not big on rice. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the mild chilli and mint sauces complemented this with the salad adding an amazing freshness to my main course. My mother and my partner both chose the mixed grill. An exceptional combination of meat and sauces served with salad and rice. I am assured by both of them that there neals were top class as well. Come on Hawera people, support this top class dining establishment in your own back yard. Equal too or better than similar Turkish restaurants I have visited in Auckland, Tauranga, and Wellington.
