Cafe Strata is New Zealands one and only HOT AIR BALLOON themed Cafe.

Story

Cafe Strata has now moved to the beach and were still producing our famous menu specializing in gluten free food made freshly on site every day by our fabulous chef Dianne ,we still serve our wonderful Vespa coffee and yes we still have the best hot chocolate anywhere in the country !!!

Wonderful cheese scones and very consistent coffee every time
Awesome service plus great coffee & brownie

First place to actually serve a large pot of tea for two. Fantastic breakfasts, I'd recommend anything with the mushrooms!
Cool little cafe, staff are friendly. Has gluten free options! Their vanilla and blue berry gluten free cake is absolutely a must!
Great coffee and cabinet food. Others were ordering from menu board and all.looked yummy. Good atmosphere and service tops.
Excellent coffees at good prices. Pies were great. I didn't get to choose the flavour, but wrapped up the mince and cheese and steak and cheese, and they were both excellent.
Very disappointing experience. Both staff were rude and there was no vegan options and staff didnt seem to care about that.
