Called in here today on our way south last time here was about 3 years ago. Awesome coffee, and the best date scone! very comfy cafe with good outdoor courtyard seating. Great prices too :
Delicious food options with generous portion sizes. Worth the detour! Really good outdoor dining areas and toys for the kids. The coffee is fairly decent too. Book ahead at peak times.

Lovely, friendly staff. Wonderful fresh selection of food and dessert/cakes. My daughter loved the chocolate brownies. The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere warm and inviting.

Had Rosetta Classic breakfast, similar to English breakfast minus the baked beans. Special highlights would be the homemade hash brown and sourdough bread. Glass table water bottle due for clean. Enjoyed my Dark Horse coffee roasted in Kapiti.
I'm on a diet so this cafe is really good. They do half portions and dietary requirements. Ideal for those on weight watchers plans
Good gf options plus wait staff who are clued up about Coeliac disease. Most of all the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
Loved my coffee, the scone was really crumbly and looked dry but when I ate it it was actually not too bad
