Cool little museum and it’s free! A couple of beautifully restored Cable Cars, a moving exhibit showing you the old winding room and loads of photos and history. Worth a visit, will take about half an hour
Such a good experience in low budget. Good lookout points, gardens and some shops at the top. There's also a free shuttle to Zealandia zoo which is a good experience too. There's a botanical garden, planetarium and some walking trails. Unfortunately it was raining and we couldn't do much. It will be a nice experience for everyone.
Interesting museum at the top of the cable car. Free of charge entrance is more attractive even. Inside old times cable cars, some other history facts and a small store. Staff is limited, but seems ok. There is the lower part where you can see the real cables of the cable car working and moving. It is small, but worth a visit.
Good to be able to experience riding the Cable Car and understanding its rich history in transportation. Great to see Wellington City still holds onto this old tradition of travelling.
Small museum with old cable cars and engine. Full of interesting old photos and documents. If you are at peak, stop by.
Free to wander 'round and check out how the Cable Car was built. Pick up a model cable car or a fridge magnet.
Great place to have a cable car ride
A lovely little museum, and riding up the cable car was fun and enjoyed walking round the gardens at the top too. Look from the view point over Wellington
