I have been visiting this place recently since I started working in Takapuna. Usually I'm okay with the wait and sticky floor. I notice tables aren't cleared fast enough, service and upkeep of the place is slow. It's clear to me that this place is under staffed. Some workers don't seem experienced here so I assume they go through many employees or they're a place for training. This place lacks leadership and management. On Saturday I visited and at first I thought the place was closed, a massive green bin was still in front of their door and rubbish all over the footpath. An angry local came in to give staff a telling off for not cleaning the mess in front first. Their bin in store was leaking liquid and a customer set up a slippery floor sign for them before asking for management. Some stools that were broken still haven't been fixed since I started visiting. And workers at the counter had to go out back to prep food, referring to pictures on their menu to know what goes inside my wrap. Took some pictures of what I saw, I only hope Burger King HQ visits this place to assist them in improving the place. I don't give 1 stars easily, I'm normally pretty easy to please but while sitting there waiting for my food, I started to question if I wanted to eat it.
The service was not up to par. Ordered two breakfast combos but was not being asked for the options, all by default, hence the fries instead of hash bites for breakfast. Asked for hot chocolate but still gave me coffee when the order arrived and have to re -ask for it.
Very busy shop. I was served today by a very rude young lady at the counter. No smile on face not customer friendly. May be overloaded at work, but customers reserve a better service ! No trays provided for dine in customers, you have to eat from the paper bag!!!There are plenty of burger options around, I would avoid this shop next time !!
Absolutely awesome experience, Manager was super humble and customer focussed , rest of the team were nice too. Burger taste good and fresh, loved the new dispensing machine, i had lemon tea wasnt too sweet like other drinks.. Review Ranger rating 5/5
Always clean premises along with adequate service. Some of the staff provide excellent service and other staff just provide minimum service. The killer for any fast food outlet. Opening and closing hours really need to be made clearer as this tends to change night after night.
It's fine, it is what it is. I was a little disappointed when I ask one of the staff if their fries were cooked in oil or lard and if they were cooked in the same oil than the nuggets because I recently stopped eating animal products and was just wondering if I could share some fries with friends since we were all there. The cashier handed me a clipboard with allergy information and told me to step aside, there was no information about the oil or the fries and she didn't know what was used to cook them so I ended up not buying anything and feeling a little ignored to be honest. But hey, if you just want a burger and very average customer service you're probably in the right place, no one goes to bk for a gourmet meal anyways.
Good staff. Tried the wings for the first time. Delicious. Fresh, too. Place could have used a bit of a tidy up, especially with 2-3 staff on and the place was very quiet. Hence, only a 4 star rating.
Yum yum yum, I love BK. They have staples and new burgers all the time. The food is always fresh, but the fries can be hit and miss. Also the sundaes aren't as good as maccas. But they have drive through, and plenty of parking if you want to eat in.
If you've seen my reference for other posts, you'll know I'm a stickler for times and this place fails to deliver on committing to advertised opening times! It seems they have updated their online times since I found them shut half an hour than advertised. Otherwise this place is OK for what it is. Certainly gone to better. This place suffers with the space they for and most likely can't improve on it...
To begin with the service was awful. Sharan and Cody, the workers, were really disrespectful. They gave all the orders wrong. They had no complain book and they gave me hamburguer wrapping paper to write my complain there. I was treated as a criminal saying that I had not paid for my hamburger and that I did not know what had I ordered. So basically they treated me like a crazy person. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PLACE. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.
