Went to go get a refund for faulty piece of equipment. Women working on refunds desk called in someone to help me. I had to wait 40 minutes for someone to come. The refund was accepted but the same lady who initially served me did not allow me a refund in cash. Zero customer care. Been buying from bunnings everyday for the past 3 years. Will not be buying from them again.
I was served by Krime with her purple hair, friendly demeanor, and sparkling badges which were worn with pride and gave her an edge of sophistication. 5 stars May her badge collection grow. Would shop here purely to be graced my her presence upon arriving at the checkout. May she flourish in her career and outshine the rest with her pins of honour.
Extremely disappointed with Bunnings Warehouse Petone and the Morrison lawn mower I purchased.nnThe mower was faulty from the first week — very hard to start and the engine constantly cuts out during normal mowing. Instead of offering a replacement, customer service repeatedly blamed me and sent the mower for repair.nnI was told the repair would take 2 weeks. It has now been over 4 weeks, and I’ve been asked to wait another week, leaving me without a mower for more than a month for a brand-new faulty product.nnThis is unacceptable. Poor product quality and very poor after-sales service. I expected far better from Bunnings.
Today we went in and purchased various painting products amounting to over $400 But we were very disappointed with the customer service from the Paint department Staff all she seemed to be worried about was the paint which ended up on her sleeve. Also, when showing us the paint color she did so in such a matter that it made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Normally when shopping at Bunnings we get very good service and advice but today was the worst experience we have had since we started purchasing Items from this store.
Very disappointing customer service from REMMInnI called ahead to both the Wellington and Petone stores and clearly explained that my pressure washer was faulty and cutting out during use. I was told over the phone that bringing it in for a warranty refund or replacement would be fine.nnWhen I arrived in store and was served by Remmi, the interaction immediately felt unprofessional. Basic customer service and manners were not present, and the approach felt unhelpful and dismissive from the start, even though I was polite and simply explaining the issue.nnDespite having proof of purchase and a clearly faulty product, I had to push significantly harder than expected just to progress the warranty claim. The experience felt inconsistent with what I was told over the phone and unnecessarily difficult for what should have been a straightforward process.nnIn the end the refund was processed, which makes the resistance beforehand even more frustrating. Customers should not have to argue or escalate just to access a valid warranty outcome.nnOverall a poor experience and not what I would expect from a large retailer handling consumer warranty claims.
