I frequently drive from Wellington to Tauranga with my dog Billy Bones and this is one of our designated stops. There are some beautiful old trees here and lovely big lawns next to the rugby fields. Dogs aren't allowed on the pitches but there's so much green space around them that it's no issue. There are toilets here that are always clean and even a little dog bubbler for him, like in dog parks. Perfect stop to stretch our legs and throw a ball around.
Great place to stop of travelling through Bulls with kids and/or dog. Clean toilets, a decent playground and ample space for running dogs around including a bush walk at the far end of the park. Lots of big trees for shade.
Best place to play and watch rugby, also the scenery make a fantastic backdrop for photography
Bulls domain is a combination of open paddock, a walk through a tree area, and access to walk along the river. It is a pleasant, easy walk.
