Buller Gorge Swing Bridge is probably the longest of its kind at 110 m. Going over and back is no problem. Nice view of the Buller River. It's most fun when the suspension bridge swings and you look into frightened faces. When entering the suspension bridge, a sign indicates that max. 15 people can be on the bridge at the same time.
Well worth the stop. Good value, was $10adult and $5child when we visited to cross the bridge. Added the swing back for $20 for my daughter.
Great stop off along the Buller Gorge. Kids loved it as did the grown-ups. Clearly a labour of love with heaps of info and little gems if you have the time to look for them. Only downside is the sandflies. Bring repellent.
The swing bridge is great, also did the jet boat which was fantastic! And there's an amazing wee spot for swimming and diving into the river
Fabulous views, good range of walks, comet zip line super fun! Staff are friendly and keen to help. Coffee available on site. Bring insect repellent especially during summer.
Cute little bush walk and crossing of the swing bridge. It was cool but not really worth the price tag. We have done way cooler things in NZ that are free.
Just $10 each to walk over the swing bridge and follow the 15min loop around bush land and the Buller River. Options to gold pan and zip line as well. Nice little coffee cabin on site as well. Great value for money and would highly recommend.
Went with family of 4. Was an okay stopover but didn't feel it was worth the entry fee. Hokitika Gorge was many times more beautiful with excellent walkways. And that was free!
