Loved it! Went there just to do the swing bridge and ended up doing the jet boat and the flying fox! The Buller Gorge jet boat ride was fabulous. Our guide Mike, was so much fun and we all lived the experience.. even my 81yo mother!
Buller Gorge Swing Bridge is probably the longest of its kind at 110 m. Going over and back is no problem. Nice view of the Buller River. It's most fun when the suspension bridge swings and you look into frightened faces. When entering the suspension bridge, a sign indicates that max. 15 people can be on the bridge at the same time.
Interesting place. The bridge history is worth hearing about. No gold found thou. Staff were extremely friendly. Good place to visit
Great experience if combined with the Comet Line. Good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Great views of the river and interesting history about floods and earthquakes.
Apparently New Zealand's longest swing bridge. Grateful for the wire netting fully enclosing the sides! Lovely view! Nice 15 minute walk on the other side too. We saw a weka see photo of bird. There is also a longer walk, I think about 1 hour, but we didn't have time. Great value for money too
Fantastic loved it we have driven past it often and never stopped .not again
We had a really relaxing walk around the area. Very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area
Great stop off along the Buller Gorge. Kids loved it as did the grown-ups. Clearly a labour of love with heaps of info and little gems if you have the time to look for them. Only downside is the sandflies. Bring repellent.
Swing bridge has thus amazing bridge connecting two cliffs, has walkways and comet line. Fun place, the experience is worth money spent.
