Story

Victor Buckton founded Buckton Garage in Paengaroa in 1950. Blending pragmatic engineering with a creative outlook this country garage became locally renown for recycling trucks and converting them into solid farm machinery that got the hard work done.

When Victors sons, Eric and Morris entered the business in the 1960's they struck up a dynamic partnership that built on their father's legacy.

As orchardists and farmers in their own right, the Buckton brothers understood the functionality and toughness that farmers demanded from their equipment. Drawing on these first-hand insights and working with local farmers the Buckton brothers forged a reputation for hard working engineering.

Decades on at Buckton we're continuing these traditions, building hard working farm equipment to ease your workload.
