Awesome restaurant in Greymouth. Visiting from Nelson and went with some Hoki friends. The menu catered to all our allergies and dietary requirements, even on the drinks menu showing if the wine had dairy or not with a little V. Stoked the menu had cauliflower rice as an option. Fantastic generous servings & great atmosphere. Our wait staff were young girls who proved to be efficient and friendly. Impressed with this place. Would definitely go again!!
Recommended by the motel we were staying at as it was close by walking distance. We were able to be seated without a reservation Thurs night, but still 75% full I would say and the wait staff looked after us well. A good menu selection with some specials and a reasonable wine list as well. Quite a few choices available and we settled on thе pasta of the day for my wife they kindly omitted the spicy salami for her $27 and I had the pork belly and seasonal veges $42. A glass on wine each and $88.50 we though fair for a good sized meal leaving neither of us hungry.
A local Greymouth restaurant with a great menu and quality tasty meals. The front of house team are professional and helpful. Dinner tonight was a great experience.
Amazing customer service. Delicious food. The seafood chowder is absolutely AMAZING. I also asked for garlic prawns served with cauliflower, didn’t like much but I think it is only my tasty. Someone will love it. Then I asked for a panna cotta and my godness. Also the Sauvignon Blanc Jules Taylor was perfect to go with these all food. I’m quite sure ordering for the prawns was a bit too much for me. ‍
Food was very good, but we were most impressed by the excellent friendly and efficient service. Meal highlight was the pork belly bites entree. Definitely worth a visit.
Great food and service. Went as a group and we all enjoyed our meals, not one issue. The Seafood Chowder is highly recommended as well as the other fish meals.
Great service and excellent cuisine. Enormous value for money dishes with very substantial portions. Generous sides. Beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended for couples, families, and everyone.
Would liked to give a 5 star but we had to wait as the kitchen was overwhelmed and stopped taking orders. I totally got why as they had a mob of old ladies arrive after bowling but the way they handled it made it worse. A fairer system would be to take the order amd just say it will be about 1 hour. Refusing orders then starting again means some people got lucky and others missed out. The foos is fantastic including the breakfasts and the staff are awesome. Please find a better way to deal with an unexpected influx.
Superb food and lovely staff. We both had the lamb roast of the day, was one of the nicest meals we’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend this place.
Walked to hostess station and they said no table available, looked away, no eye contact after the first hostess just ignored me. Fortunately another young person came over and said they serve food in the bar. Management should inform lost hostess of the availability of food and drinks in the bar instead of shutting down a customer without a reservation. Yes it’s difficult finding good employees, but proper training can help them succeed in a customer facing business like a restaurant.
