Great place to come for haircuts for blokey types of all ages. It's a slightly better take on a modern barber shop. But includes old school barber chairs. And with no hipsters in sight. For the bearded non-hipster types - you can get a beard trim as well as - or instead of - your haircut. There is a range of hair care and haircare accessories as well. Note they are now located as of November 2022 in their new location at 81 Thames St. Right Next to the "World famous in Oamaru" McDiarmids shoe shop.
I just moved to Oamaru and was in need of a fresh fade and that is exactly what I got 10/10. I will definitely be going back for my next appointment. The women are very nice and go above and beyond. I would totally recommend Bruce's Barber to anyone that is looking for and amazing barber.

Excellent place to get your hair cut above the normal standard. You get what you pay for

Friendly service, great hair cut and option to have a beer or other beverages while getting a trim. Not the last time I'll be going there.
