We often attend going to the Bruce Madon Centre, either for a show but this last Sunday we had our church Sermon there as our base church is being renovated. Woweee amazing Centre ever!! Good parking attached to it!!
Went to watch Deacon Blue in concert who were amazing. But within 10 minutes of them starting to perform we were informed that the bar had closed much to the horror of most of the audience who had an average age of late 40s nearing 50s. Every other venue and every other concert the bar would of remained open. Next time DB come to Auckland I hope they go back to the venue they last played at The Power station such a better atmosphere and get treated like middle aged people not young kids.
Good venue, has good access and parking. Good seats and access with standing at front of stage. Good views whererver you are in hall. Acoustics are good. Lots of beautiful bars, restaurants coffee shops around the Bruce Mason centre.
Came to see the show Respect, the Aretha Franklin show, and just wow! How amazing! This was such a wonderful night. Parking was easy in the car park just near the front door. The foyer was packed with people chatting and drinking alcoholic beverages. It was easy finding our seats inside. Great air conditioning. Exiting the theatre after the show took some time. Toilets were very clean.
What an amazing show Matilda was today. Watched the movie last week and seeing it today was incredible to see how they recreated it for the stage. Brilliant acting, great music and lighting. No photos of the show itself but the venue is excellent with good views everywhere.
