I have never been to Peru so I cannot say if the food at this place is authentic or not. However, the food was fairly good; nothing to write home about, but tasty nonetheless. I ordered chuleta pork chops with rice and beans. The meat was well marinated, well prepared and wasn't dry at all; rice and beans were cooked perfectly.Food: 4/5
never again. went to this place with my family and there was no designated waiter. everyone was in the kitchen and we had to get our own menus. although one of the guys that assisted us was nice, when they brought the plates out they were soaking wet. second off, we ordered a whole pollo a la brasa and when it came out it looked okay, however when i took a bite it was still bloody and raw. i felt sick to my stomach and still do. we asked the guy if he could please cook it for longer, even if he had to cut it up completely. by the time they were done we had finished the small portion of rice and beans that comes with a whole chicken and cut it open only to find it was still raw. i was incredibly disappointed and my family lost their appetite completely. we asked if we could just have the chicken to go and told them we’d just cook it at home. we came right back home since we were all feeling nauseous after that experience. i am the biggest fan of peruvian food which is why we decided to come. but that food that i had was a horrible food experience and would never wish that on anyone. please find a better place to eat.
Worst peruvian food ever, the guy that help us had a really bad attitute and the arroz chaufaa was hortible. I paid 26 dollars for rice from last week with 3 pieces of meat. Avoid this place
Very nice place. The food tastes very fresh. I had fish in tomato sauce and it was exceptionally spiced. Warning: portions are very sizable so plan to share. Overall, a very nice family restaurant.
I never posted a review before but this has to be the worst peruvian restaurant in nyc. I order simmer fish "pescado sudado". No taste,no salt 3 pieces of tomato and small piece of fish, rice taste dry and like it was from the day before..an insult for any who call themselves Peruvian to charge almost $30 for it!!
Very delicious and reasonable price! They have a great lunch special menu.

I placed an order through the website and 15 minutes later I got a phone call from the restaurant telling me it would be 40 minutes late because they just started cooking the chicken. I called 40 minutes later and was told it was on its way. When I called again 1.5 hrs later, the phone was paused back and forth with someone telling me “I just got in and I don’t want to get blamed for this” then 3 people later the manager got on the phone and says “it’s too bad you need to call the site and they’ll give you a refund” when I asked why I wasn’t told this in the first call they gave me the manager responds by saying “I don’t have to explain myself to you I don’t need your money”. And then hung up. I’ve never had a more horrible service in my life and without reasoning. Such poor business practice, and now I’m not getting my money back since it was ordered through them directly. Be careful with ordering from this business they seem to lack an understanding of customer service and also want to take money without providing service.
