Brooklyn deli, it's something that you must visit if you are around Wellington. Great food, Argentinian food. We tried the Provoleta grilled Argentinian cheese, definitely tasteful, your mouth gonna be thankful after eating that. We also get the "Sangui Tucumano" beef milanesa, which was exquisite, I would like to have it every day, to be honest. Finally, we get empanadas, and yes, really tasty and juicy, how is supposed to be . Variety of options for vegan and gluten-free. Breakfast, lunch, and bakery. All that you need. It is such a great place and great staff. Definitely, we'll come back soon.
This is a photo of the "regular" take-away coffee size, and cost $6.40. Was honestly not sure if this was serious or if we accidentally received a small sizing - nonetheless, will never return based on this. A further note that this wasn't even quality coffee - a distinct burnt/bitter flavour. Just a reply to Javier's response: your pricing is absolutely not fair, and this isn't a "rant" online. Don't be arrogant, it exposes your ignorance. A walk through Wellington will easily bring you across numerous cafes with better pricing and larger sizing. I can even provide examples. This isn't an attack on the service of your staff. In fact, it was for that specific reason we opted not to raise this at the time; your staff are just doing as you advise. I assume from your defensive reply that this sits squarely in your lap. Don't blame patrons when they aren't happy with what you offer. Reflect on the feedback you receive, of which I note your pricing is commonly flagged as unreasonable and steep, and adjust if you can or else wear the negative feedback with dignity.
I planned to go there already for several month and finally we went there. It was a surprise and like a visit back in Europe. All we had, all dishes where so good. Lovely made amd full of taste.
Really nice wee place. Excellent coffee, good range of foods for dietary requirements, vegan samosa was yum. Lots of options for sweet treats. Inside is bright and nice decor, was a bit more expensive than some other places but lovely atmosphere and staff were friendly.
I’ve been living in Brooklyn for quite some time and thought I had found my weekly brunch spot. The food I cannot fault, delicious coffee and Argentinian food. I was however disappointed with the lack of warmth from the staff, I understand everyone has off days but on multiple occasions we have not been approached and left to find our own table.
Love this place! The staff are very attentive and fast. I like the feel to the place and their menu is great! They are not afraid of changing a few dishes which I plus have great goodies bread loaves , cured meats, cheese and desserts to take home! The is pretty good too!!!
What a perfect wee gem of a place. Delicious Austrian inspired food. Coffee delicious, and amazing bakery too! A must try, it's my new favourite Brooklyn go-to spot.
A very cute and friendly place! It was cool how I can see it was mainly Austrian themed, i ordered one of the main brekkies that had the Austrian meat loaf which was so good! Staff were extremely friendly too, I kept asking questions and he was super friendly , I would definitely go back here
The atmosphere here is great, and that's why I go. But two things, this is in fact not a deli I love delis and thought I could stop by for some take away and the take away the prices are crazy. I got a panini, a small quiche, and a savory bread and butter pudding kind of like a muffin for $35!!pictured I would have said something I thought these prices were for their "with salad" plated versions but everything was already bagged. I've been here a lot for brunch and like I said great atmosphere, good coffee, average food for Wellington, but just a bit pricey for what you get.
A great place to drop in for a relaxing coffee or something more substantial from the cabinets or menu. Our coffees were delish, as was the food we chose, which included a breakfast dish of poached eggs, tons of avocado mash and some tasty looking dark bread, and a simple ham and cheese toasted panini. The sweet treats are quite a bit different from what I’ve seen elsewhere, plus they have a variety of organic rye and spelt breads for sale too. The ‘deli’ section is very small, but it contains some fine Italian meats and cheeses, all of which are cut to order. The service is hospitable, and the decor is very pleasant, the highlight for me being the wood feature wall see photos.
