Lovely gardens for a summer picnic among the beautiful roses
A trip back into history! The volunteer guide was super friendly and told us many background stories. The displays in the rooms make the history of this unique heritage house come alive.
Highly suggest a tour inside the house, true blast from the past. Rose garden is lovely too!
Great guide. A gem for Nelson and NZ
Bev the tour guide was lovely and it was really interesting to see the house and to hear all about the history of it. Apparently you are allowed to even have picnics in their lovely rose garden. Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely beautiful gardens love it
Beautiful gardens around a lovely old house. Spent an hour wandering around the lovely rose garden which had plenty in bloom. The dogs were allowed in the garden on lead which is brilliant. We didn't go into the house as we were there in the early morning before it opened.
Great place to visit or have a picnic
Lovely peaceful time spent amongst beautiful display.
