Britomart Train Station is a stunning blend of historic and modern design. The grand entrance is housed in a beautifully restored Edwardian-style building, giving it a classic charm. Inside, the station opens into a sleek, futuristic space with high ceilings, polished metal finishes, and large glass panels that allow natural light to filter in.nnThe underground platforms have a spacious, tunnel-like design with curved steel beams and soft lighting, creating a unique, almost sci-fi feel. The concourse features digital displays, ticket machines, and a few small shops and cafés, making it both functional and visually impressive.
Large, clean and very well maintain station.nWith lots of easy to read signage and information boards for commuters to easily understand where they are and where they want to go to.nEscalators and stairs make it easy to access.
Appropriate tactile tiling for the visually impairednnVery convenient and easy to navigate.nVery helpful and knowledgeable staff.nPlease let me use the escalator if I have just one luggage case with me ;w;nnWheelchair access:nFull sidewalk level flooringnAccessibly wide turnstilesnMultiple elevators to Level-Boarding platforms for all trains.
Clean place, nice architecture.nThere is always staff around to help you with questions.nThe location is wonderful, in front of a Shopping Center, on the side of harbour view and ferry station. And there is the stores and restaurant above it. A great place to visit at night or weekends. There is a fair on Saturday's morning. Accessibility is accounted for, with ramps and lifts to help those in need.
Loved the view and the ambience of this train station. Amazing architecture and the staffs are so polite and very eager to help us. Travelled multiple times and britomart is a charm of its own. Hoping to travel even more and be a part of this beautiful culture of Newzealand.
