What we ordered was meant to be immediate click and collect we were collecting the next day and it wasn't there. It actually didn't come for 10 days, I ordered from Hamilton despite living in Tauranga because the stock was only in Hamilton, and we beeded it immediately . The service we got in store was great, I understand that the stock is updated at the end of each day or at the beginning of each day at stores and it's a busy time of the year. We ordered baskets to make Christmas hampers, and the staff member found us an alternative for the same price, so we got those and then eventually canceled the original order. This would have been more frustrating if a customer didn't have thenfunds to pay for the baskets a second time and wait for a refund. The baskets were a great buy and amazing quality for that reason and the great customer service both instore and on the phone to customer service is why I am still giving 4 stars..
Good central location. Good amount of parking spaces at the front or side street. But KFC drive through queue often blocks the carpark and it's entrance. Staff Kilian was really helpful at the counter and as he was also aware what happening, such as serving a customer at the counter but noticing the queue was forming quickly at checkout, he PA and asked any available staff to come to the front counters at help. As a rule of thumbs, if you are not in a hurry, wait for the specials/discounts to come around, weekly or fortnightly as at RRP their prices are more expensive than others for exact items.
My wife and I arrived this evening to enter at exactly 5:30pm today, half an hour before they were scheduled to close. They were standing at the doors looking desperate for people to get out so they could call it a day while customers were walking out. They locked the doors knowing we were about to approach the entrance.nnFor this reason alone, they deserve nothing but a 1 star. I will not be returning here again.
Nice & great staff,nnBut...we are not coming back due to parking breach notice by the smart compliance management. After looking for a parking space, eating at Subway & shopping at Briscoes we unknowingly violated parking policy time 11.33 AM to 01:21 PM. That was black Friday weekend 2024. We received a $85 breach notice!
It's your standard briscoes. Sometimes it's a bit messy and disorganised at the end of a sale but they all are. It feels like there is not enough staff there but the ones who are are friendly and willing to help. Parking there is kinda a pain though.
