Friendly with a good range of wines to try. Having the open windows onto the winery was very nice too. Friendly staff and we'll looked after. Their vineyard dog is a sweetie too. Definitely suggest getting a bottle or two of the Rutherford collection.

What a wonderful time we had with the owner describing her wines while eating one of the best lunches we had in New Zealand. Delicious and memorable.
Object to being charged for wine tasting so I left. Its a small scale operation. Did Prince Charles get charged?

We had a wonderful time tasting wines at Brightwater Vineyard. The tasting of 5 wines is $5 or free with a purchase. The Pinot Gris was our favorite and I also really enjoyed the wine truffle I got. The owner was very friendly and we had a great conversation with her. We highly recommend stopping here for a wine tasting!
Favourite pinot noir in Nelson!
If you are going to Nelson make sure to stop in here for a wine tasting. All the wines were superb and we were able to hear first hand from the wine maker how the wines are produced.
