I wish to thank our local fire station with all my heart for being the first responders to my mama's medical event yesterday. Not only did you help her by making sure she was stabilized, had enough oxygen and by monitoring her, but you also supported me through a pretty rough hour or so while we waited for an ambulance to become available. I understood that there were 5 volunteers in total, thank you all... And especially to Stacey and Brent who were at my mama's side with me. I just want you to know how appreciated you are.
On the 4th february 2020 I had a heart attack at my home. My husband rang 111 and whilst on the phone to them, in a matter of minutes I had 3 or 4 firemen/and a woman standing in my bedroom as first responders from the Brighton Fire Brigade. They were able to stabilize me and take tests etc. until the ambulance arrived. Please accept my sincere gratitude for the professional and caring way you came to my aid. I have never needed this service before and i am most grateful to know you are doing this great service to our community.
