The scars from the Christchurch earthquakes may still be visible, and nowhere more so than in the central city, but what is not so visible is the incredible spirit of the people who call Christchurch home.
There are hundreds of stories of people who have risen to the challenge. People who, out of the adversity, had the courage to take a risk, to try something new and have improved the lives of people in their community.
We believe these, often unsung, heroes deserve to be acknowledged, and for their stories to be told.
