Story

Brave Brewing Co. Launched in late 2014. We are a small award winning brewery located in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay. Brave is passionate about the art and craft of brewing. We started out as a barebones, backyard operation but have recently moved to our new premises in central Hastings, with an onsite tasting room, cellar door and eatery. We like to think of ourselves as your neighbourhood brewery. We've grown a little, but our ethos hasn't changed. We make quality, flavourful beer and do our darnedest to ensure it's served fresh. Enjoy!

I always had their Tigermilk IPA in Auckland as a drink so had to come here to check out the brewery and other beers on tap. Was absolutely not disappointed, had great service and the beers were amazing. Plus who can say no to $6 hotdogs?
Great beer, good selection of food and casual place to hang out in central Hastings. Enjoyed the vegetarian food on offer and a good mix of food for the kids as well. Nice and clean and staff are great. Well worth a visit.

FYI - a slab of TIGERMILK easily fits in a beer fridge. So I suggest buying 2 slabs!
Great atmosphere, only stayed for beers. Looking at other peoples food, made me think it might be good to pop in for a feed one of these days. All the plates looked inviting.

Great beer and food! The food is at a price point that I can afford to be a regular customer - we often find ourselves here for dinner and a drink on Friday. Great service and atmosphere.
We called in on way to Freb Fountain concert. Just a drink and snack. Staff really helpful. Tasted a couple of beers and settled on pocket rocket. Really tasty and interesting salad and yummy chips. Very pleasant experience.
