Great place to stop—very convenient! The BP Truckstop is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a quick break. The fuel prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Plenty of parking space, and the convenience store is stocked with snacks, drinks, and essentials. Restrooms are clean, which is always a plus. Perfect stop for travelers and truckers!
Staff not proactive… at all. A line built up of twelve customers waiting and while five staff were available, only one of the staff was operating one of the three working tills. We awkwardly stood there watching one staff member continuously wipe the same Pringles cans repeatedly on the shelf as the line built past her.nnAnother customer was waiting at the Cafe side but was ignored by the barista until another member of staff had to intervene.
If not for the convenient location I would not choose to go here willingly. Poor awareness around customer service for multiple reasons and some of the staff stand around for decoration.nnI stood at the wild bean till to order a coffee to go with my muffin and 4 staff were huddled having a chat at the BP window. I had to stare hard before they decided to pretend to be busy with not a single one of them coming to the till. Instead, one of them called me across the storefront to go to her. Why none of the 2 girls at my counter offered to serve me, I will never know.nnI go to place my order and she asks if I want coffee. To be fair, my response was a little short since I told her that was the reason I was waiting in the wild bean queue .nnShe then proceeded to talk over me and decides to guess at my coffee by working through the list one at a time.. Cappuccino? No. Flat white? No. Latté? No, I said Mocha. Mocha? Yes, I want a Mocha.nnI'm grateful I got in before the rush because there were 8+ other people that came in after me and only the 1 lady serving. The others all disappeared or pretended to clean. 1 in particular kept rearranging the same Pringles for no real reason. Wasted money paying wages for people to pretend to work.nnI would give you a 0 if possible but it isn't. The coffee was fine so consider that the reason you get a star at all.
6 people in the queue to pay for fuel and one staff member is busy making coffees, and the other staff member is... polishing the sliding door of the pie cabinet? Why not let the customers pay first, so that they can continue on their journey? Some of them were waiting for almost 10 minutes. Then you can go polish the pie cabinet.
Nice basic food pies and sammies. Great service and nice clean toilets. Very good.
