Due to a flat and punctured tyre problem with our tour bus on 14/12, while having a city highlight tour organised by our cruise ship, we, around 45 people stopped at this lovely bp station. We stopped there while waiting for a second bus to arrive and also for rest…etc. This place really is the one that means to provide a traveller’s need, physically, socially and psychologically. They have a variety of products, foods, drinks, services, facilities and seats for a nice stop. I bought two chocolate powder tins as souvenirs for my family members, which are not dear, and also good, and many of us had a cuppa there. All staffs are quite friendly and welcoming. I hope they can replenish freshly baked/made muffins more often because there was only one left in the tray when we arrived at 10am as shown in a photo. Anyway we stayed there for an hour until a second bus arrived and also the flat tyre was fixed. We left with a grateful heart.
I stopped at this branch recently and had a disappointing experience at checkout. The cashier left the counter to chat with a colleague doing coffee while I was waiting to pay, which caused unnecessary delay. It would be great if staff could remain attentive to customers at the register to ensure smoother service.
Good place to meet out of towners passing through and their picking up things for their journey. Nice staff! Be good place to stop in a traffic jam when there's a crash lol
Tried to fill my tank, I wanted $130 gas 91 and paid at the counter. The man just looked at me and said I can’t do $130 can only do $99 the man turned and talked to his friend who then shook his head. I thought that was pretty strange then I asked for a receipt after all that, they looked confused and didn’t give me one, strange
Went for fuel and vacuum cleaner for our caravan carpet mats. Definitely a grunty vacuum, very impressed. 1 of the best we've used.
