Conveniently located on the main road. Only petrol stations in the area before going to Becahlands and Maratai. The store has quick snacks and hot & cold drinks options
I don't usually go to BP however I know this one was recently renovated so I thought why not to go have a look and get some fuel while I was there. I was surprised that there was no pay at pump as I have become accustomed to not walking inside to pay.nnThe new style is very modern and a nice refurbish. It was late in the afternoon so I didn't buy any coffee so I can't comment on that.
Horrible experience for me here. I put petrol in my car and went inside the petro station showing my BP card to get the 6 cent discount per litre. There was an old chinese couple running the shop. The guy took my AA smartfuel card and said it was not registered I have used this card numerous times before and got a discount in every single store I used BTW . It showed some 6 cent discount and I didn't completely understand the english but he said something about my card not being registered and was not clear at all. I came back and checked the bill in the car and it showed that my card was not registered and I didn't get any discount. I then checked my registry and went inside the shop but this time the guy wasn't there but there was his wife I think and she said no discount no discount and I said well if you explained me properly, then I would have registered my card first and then paid. Soon she started shouting on me. Seeing this another fat white woman came inside the store and started defending the lady without even knowing the story. The chinese woman finally showed that the guy I talked to before was just outside and sent me to him. The fat white lady followed me. I don't why she needs to be involved in this as she has no business here. Anyway in the end the situation turned ugly and shouted at me saying it was my fault. The worst was when fat white lady used the c*** word on me. She said that I don't look like a person from NZ and I was a c***. I was singled out and the only thing I could do was get out of there without any redemption. I want to share this story as I feel if I don't talk about this the same thing would happen to another person. I would give -1 if I could for this particular experience.
Petrol station located right next to fish n chips shop and bakery, one stop for all you need and has outdoor picnic tables over looking the loop for a nice view
