My very favorite place to get great service great coffee no waiting for fuel pumps. The public toilets here are the best I have come across for a garage. They are always spotless when I use them. The staff are so friendly always up for a good conversation and laugh with them.
I can't praise the staff and management enough. I had a very scary incident with my car dripping petrol, They went out of their way to assist this elderly, panicking woman with help in arranging AA services to tow my car to a garage. Being a weekend the garages were not able to be contacted directly. Made me coffee and were absolutely wonderful in ensuring that I was OK and could get home. My heartfelt thanks to this wonderful crew.
Last stop on a 14hour drive after attending a wedding in the north island it was 530am just wanted something hot to eat and a coffee however the older guy with round glasses wasn't to keen on that really bad attitude didn't scan our rewards card moaned about coffees and food looked like it hadn't been touched since the day before the coffee he ended up making was so hot I could feel the heat from it on my arm while driving couldn't even attempt to drink it for 20 mins but it was so badly burnt it was undrinkable I would have just brought a coke if it was going to be such a big deal. I've had plenty of good experiences here before but if I pull up and I see that guy behind the counter I'm just going to go find somewhere else
Clean and tidy. Customer bathroom available. Wide variety of pies and drinks available at coffee shop. Hot chocolate and Coffee was excellent but pies were a bit of a let down compared to other gas stations and server forgot half my order. Quite busy for a 7am breakfast stop.
I am very disappointed. Late last night around 3am we were headed home and stopped at BP for a coffee as nothing else was open. And I wanted a decaf flatwhite. He then proceeded to put grinds in a cup fill it with boiling water and added a splash of milk. And it's not the first time at that specific BP that the person couldn't make coffee.nIf you want to sell coffee BP then make sure you put your employees through a batista course.
