This is a good place to fill up your tank and having a break after a long trip. The main road nearby is pretty interesting visually and Taihape is the Gumboot Capital of New Zealand.
Stop every night for fuel up my truck . Love this place to stop . Nice staff and ready to help when needed. Specially quick coffe service when getting late on my way back by FIONA . Thank you for your good service .

Coffee Grounds are a nice lil freebie. 'You can't take photos inside' though states angry old lady clerk.
Went in for a coffee around 5am, 2 staff on, one went for break. 2 costumers ordered a coffee after me and got theirs first. Walked out after 15 minutes of waiting, poor service.
Waited ages, wrong drinks made, then told it was out fault. Older guy behind the counter was so rude.
Great place to take a lunch break and they do wonderful coffees and hot chocolate
