Only went in and out to get a drink. It's a small, well organized space that I noticed was well cleaned.nI also took advantage of their Bathroom Facilities and found them to be clean and well maintained.nThe Ladies at the counter were very down-to-earth. Kind and interactive with the Customers which is always a treat.nI recommend this Service Station as a stop off and will make it a stop off of my own from now on.
I had a voucher for $30 off petrol on my rewards card and said to the senior employee behind the counter, I have this to redeem on my full tank of petrol. He scanned the card then only processed the 6c off and it wasn't until i looked at the receipt and saw he hadn't put it through I questioned him and he said, no you have to have a code and that he didn't know how to do it. Yet as soon as I got down the line and filled up at another BP station they were capable of doing it with no hesitation. This is the 2nd time I've had this happen with him at Kaitaia BP and he just scoffs it off as if it's nothing.nNot happy.
I have been here 2 times in the past 3 months to fill an LPG tank. The first time they told me they didn't have anyone that could do it. So I ended up going to Mobil, where the staff and service were wonderful.nnI went back to BP's today as Mobil's was out of order. I was told that BP's was closed for the day as they had cleaning to do. What time did it close? 3pm, I was there at 3:30. I checked what time they close and it's 5:00pm on a Sunday. Supposedly they need 2 hours for their cleaning duties? Either they have too many cleaning duties or they just can't be bothered with customer service. I would really like to check with the owner if this is their policy or just their employees not wanting to help customers. One was cleaning the floor when I went in.nnOn one other occasion I went to get fuel, and they refused to let me get fuel at 15 minutes to their closing time. I ended up figuring out that I could use my BP app and filled up that way. What kind of petrol station closes at 5pm on a Sunday anyways?nnVery poor customer service record from my experience.
