We attended the Rock the Bowl and what a great venue with its natural amphitheatre and lovely grassed seating area
had a good time at the lab and friends concert wheel chair access facilities worked for me
Lovely place for a concert but might be great if they have a ‘bridge’ in the middle from the stage to people watching to make a better connection. Even Rob Thomas and John Rzeznik, said that ‘you guys are so far away’
The Festival of Lights in New Plymouth is a magical and vibrant event that transforms Pukekura Park into a dazzling wonderland. With stunning light displays, live performances, and family-friendly activities, it offers a perfect blend of art and nature. The atmosphere is enchanting, making it a must-visit attraction for locals and visitors alike. A truly memorable experience that celebrates creativity and community spirit!
There is no other concert venue like this that I know of. If you do see a show there, I suggest you spend a bit more time to check out the walks and the lake next door at Pukekura Park. And of course this is all walking distance to town.
