The best holiday park we've stayed at to date. Staff friendly and helpful. kitchen, bathrooms and amenities are all meticulously clean. Grounds and gardens very well kept Thanks for your efforts to provide a fantastic vibe in the grounds. Looking forward to our next stay at Bowentown.
An amazing place to stay if you have families or not. It's right next to the beach, which has life guard patrols. The camp ground has an on-site coffee shop and takeaway cart. The facilities are kept clean by the friendly staff.
Amazing place. Always clean and tidy. Very welcoming on arrival. Lots of lovely beaches surrounding the camping ground. Definitely be back.
I hesitate to really state how stunning this holiday park is, I worry we will never get a spot here again. The Bowentown Beach Holiday park is absolutly top notch, from the amenities, stunning grounds, locationan, staff, hygiene, overall wonderful vibe and smooth running. We have stayed in one or two similar places over the years; this is the clear delineation of holiday park, to campground. Absolutely stunning. The area is also a maze of cool outdoor things to do and very dog friendly! Thanks so very much, grand stay. Really appreciate the effort that goes into this.
It was clean and tidy. Kids had lots of fun here and made some friends while staying here as well. Easy walk to Anzac Bay and to Waihi Beach. Already planning our next stay here.
Gorgeous campground..right on the beach. Friendly staff. Toilets are clean and modern. It's 10 minutes out if Waihi beach town but it's worth the drive.
My family and i stayed here on one of the sea-view sites. We were welcomed and overwhelmed with intoxicating views of the beach during our entire stay here. What a treat. Even the facilities have a certain wow factor about them. Always clean and always gleaming. There is so much to do here all within walking distance. Anzac Bay Shelley Bay Cave Bay all unique in their own special way. The camp also has its own coffee shop!! Amazing coffee and tea accompanied by a cheeky brownie or macadamia slice. What a way to start your morning or afternoon. Another surprise was the smashburgers from the camp foodtruck!! Best burgers we have had in a very long time. Amazing friendly staff who were always smiling and keen to stop and ask about your day. The only letdown to our stay was that it wasn't long enough. Me and the family will definitely be back but this time with fishing rods!! Bowentown Beach Holiday Park you have set the bar very high!! Thankyou for the memories you have created for us and we will see ya next Christmas!
Total rip off. $64 with discount for 1 Person power site. No views. Camp was a bog but can overlook that because of the adverse weather. $5 A DAY if you need pot and pan. $10 for half hour hire on pedal carts for the kids. Of the 5000 klm travel around NZ this was the most expensive by far. Would never go back or recommend. Freedom camps up the road x 2 Thought I would support the camp due to storms. Keep driving. Oh by the way there reply speaks for itself. If they can't handle critism then don't seek feed back.
Beautiful spot! We were just visiting friends this time around, but my Nephew had a ball - plenty of kids to play with! Great facilities, next time we will have to book a site.
A great spot for a few days of camping, caravan, tent or cabin, they were all good. The facilities were great and the little coffee shop made a huge difference to rainy mornings.
