Your captain – Aaron Covacich brings more than 22 years of hands on experience in the charter fishing industry. ‘World famous in New Zealand’, Aaron has extensive knowledge of the best fishing locations in the wider Hauraki Gulf region.

With his superior knowledge and commitment to safety, couple with his great sense of humour; you may have already seen Aaron on the television featured in ‘Outdoors with Geoff’ and the ‘Bill Hohepa Fishing Show’. He’s well known by many of the All Blacks for his fishing expertise.

Moored at Ti Point in Leigh, the Bounty Hunter is a 44-foot former Australian crayfish boat. She cruises comfortably at around 12 knots.

She offers an impressive 3-kilowatt fish finder (triple the usual size you’ll find). She has ample seating, sun cover and large open cockpit. Her interior features a stocked galley with gas oven and coffee and tea making facilities. She also has a bbq, flush toilet and hot shower.

Designed to withstand the test of time, the Bounty Hunter will get you there and back again with comfort and safety.
