Bosch is a large open space cafe restaurant environment. They have menu options as well as food in the cabinet. We had the Mince & Cheese Pies and Sausage Rolls. The pies were amazing & full of flavour. The team are friendly and food served fast. Well worth a stop in your way through town.
Boscos offers a welcoming atmosphere that's both comfortable and refreshing, perfect for a break during a long drive. We visited mid-morning on a Saturday and found the service to be excellent, with a wide range of breakfast and lunch options on the menu. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, depending on the weather. The pancake stack was delicious, and the toasted sandwich, presented with a small side salad, was a nice touch. I’ll definitely stop by again on my travels.
Was such a disappointment. Went because our favourite Tiffanys was packed because it was Running of the Sheep day. Chose pot of tea and a Chicken and Bacon Sausage Roll from cabinet. The tea was good but the Sausage Roll was neither chicken nor bacon. It had been microwaved so the pastry was a mix of soggy on top and really hard to cut through on bottom. The sausage just tasted more like soggy cardboard. It did come with salad which was so limp I felt it was leftover from day before. And usually you get a little dish of homemade chutney on side but no. I got a smear of tomato sauce across the plate. I just walked out feeling what a waste of money that was.
The food was good! We ordered Belgian waffle with bacon and grilled banana, Seafood Chowder, Big breakfast and Grilled Salmon fillet. The coffees and chocolate drinks were good too. We finished everything! Even my eldest daughter was wiping down the remaining sauces of her food with her finger. She said it was finger licking good!nnI liked that we can bring our dog at the back as they have a nice deck with a couple of benches and tables. It was a good stop in between Auckland and New Plymouth.
I've been here a couple times and the food, service and atmosphere are always great. A nice little place to stop at of travelling far or if you're staying local over night
