Mt Beulah is situated in the heart of Southland, which historically has been renowned for producing the best beef and lamb in New Zealand.
We have been organic since 2005 when we realised the health of our stock and soils are directly related to our human health. We wanted to be free from the vicious cycle of dependence on the chemical inputs required with conventional farming.
Our journey has been an exciting one of feeding the soils, producing the quality plants and growing healthier stock. Attributing the sheep’s genetic ability to produce lambs without interference has been a major plus.
Environmentally we enjoy the increased bird life, the clear streams that flow through the farm and the bush creates a balanced environment for the beef and lamb.
