Good ambiance. Good service though can be a little slow. Tasty food we ordered for a navratan korma and it was very sweet. Goat curry was excellent.nClean bathrooms. The entry to the restaurant can be difficult for people on wheelchair or those who find it difficult to climb stairs. Parking right in front of the restaurant.
One of the best Indian restaurants in NZ!!nWe based in Christchurch and came to enjoy Wānaka for the weekend. We’re big fans of Indian foods. And the food and service here are surprisingly great!nnWe’ve ordered lamb and chicken. Both of them are tasty and rich of flavors! Even you’re not hungry, while you start to smell the food, you will get a good appetite;nnThe staff are nice and friendly, adding points!!
Second time visit in a group of five adults. I simply cannot fault the place.nnLovely meals once again and we were waited on by a mixture of male and female staff. All were very pleasant, very professional and when not serving tables, could be seen standing waiting patiently to serve the next table. I have to say the platter was one of the best I have eaten.nnWell done team.
The server was really attentive and accommodating to our needs . Everything that we ordered was delicious and exceptional! We really enjoyed eating our food while also appreciating the view of the lake! The cheese and garlic naan were so soft and yum! Portion size was large as well! Overall, Bombay Palace is a must when you’re in Wanaka!
Nice restaurant on the first floor. It was a Saturday nite, and the restaurant was crowded. We didn't make any reservations, however, we were seated about 30 minutes thereafter. As expected, the food was a bit slow. The food and services were good.
