Beautiful views and nice location. That’s it!nnWe went there in 31st December to have dinner. They had set menu at $70 each. We went with vegetation options. And would not recommend any of the dishes. They were heavy, creamy and too little in quantity. We also had 2 drinks which were ok.nnThe dessert was horrible to say the least. It lacked taste and we couldn’t eat more than 2 bites.nnWouldn’t recommend them. Sorry!
I have been coming to Bombay palace every year as we really enjoyed their curries and naans. The portions are always large. However this time we were disappointed with the quality of the chicken chunks - there were bones and not very nice pieces of meat to eat, it is unfortunate as we really used to like this restaurant.
Great food, reasonable priced. Nan breads nice and crispy. Pilau rice was delicious. Kingfisher on draft. Friendly staff, waitress from Argentina, so we shared a laugh about our mutual feelings for the English. Views from the balcony overlooking lake wanaka are stunning. Prime location!

Food was just too good, nice and hot, good presentation of food. All the staff were awesome.
