Like other reviewers, we found the staff to be quite uninterested. A little courtesy goes a long way but this place has none. The food is good though. Pricey but portions are large. I would recommend the naans and the tawa chicken. The biryani can be given a miss
Only ordered butter chicken and garlic Naan to takeaway. It was nice but there wasn't much flavour like I'm use to. Just doesn't have that strong, creamy flavour although it is a thick tomato gravy. Chicken wasn't very soft either, more chunky pieces. No cutlery given which i should've checked but thought it was normal, had to use my hands. Pickup time was bang on though and serving size is good.
Visited this place yesterday for dinner, I can only rate this restaurant as average. Food was ok or decent. We only tried South Indian dishes and mainly dosas, pain dosa had too much of ghee and the ghee had a strong flavor, which is not something I like in particular. On the other hand my wife ordered Masala Dosa which was better. The Sambar didn’t felt like Sambar at all, it felt more like dhaal! Chutney was ok. To be honest, I don’t feel the the recipe was following South Indian style. On the counter side, to get South Indian food here even if it was average felt like a blessing. The chef of this restaurant should focus more on the Sambar part when he gets a chance! Also this place is expensive as well.
Ordered - Malai Kofta, Paneer Tikka Masala, Lachha Paranthas, Aloo Paranthas, Paneer Paranthas. The food and service was very good. Except we left with orange fingers due to excess food colour used in paneer tikka masala given we are with our hands. Overall great service, ambiance and taste. Definitely worth trying.Food: 5/5
Had dinner at Boliwood during the weekend. The restaurant had a good ambiance with quite a few tables inside the restaurant occupied. There was outdoor seating as well but the tables were not occupied due to it being winter. Guri attended to us and ensured the service was quick and efficient. The staff were willing to customize some dishes for our little one. We went for South Indian cuisine and the dosas were pretty good. Found the restrooms to be clean and well maintained.
Chaa gaye Chetan bhai Mumbaiwale! Excellent authentic Indian food. A taste for which I was looking for several days in Australia and New Zealand. mango Lassi as well as Chach were excellent.
Wow! Great place to have Indian lunch and dinner. Best Indian masala tea ! I love the taste of food and also the customer service provided by the manager Charanjeet . Very friendly staff will listen to you and make customised food . I love the way they made sambhar and sabji without onions and garlic. I will definitely come back here.
A delicious hidden gem! Ordered the chicken vindaloo and the chicken biryani. Flavor was excellent! Very friendly waitstaff and fast service! DO NOT forget to order the garlic naan. I’ll be dreaming if this meal until I come back to Queenstown!

Do not come here until you see better consistent reviews. Seriously check the reviews wish we also did ourselves! Took almost 90 mins for food to arrive and with 6 people the plates randomly came one at a time. We could not eat together which was a disappointment. It was not a full house, the table with customers that came after us complained the most so got their food first. I sincerely hope the quality of the food and service gets better for this place to survive. Very disappointed! Will not be returning back.
