I've been going to Body and Brain yoga now for over 2 months. I feel much healthier and fitter. Master Ryan and Beau are both amazing teachers. Very knowledgeable, caring and encouraging. The people there are all so lovely and supportive. Would definitely recommend.
I first came to the body and brain studio dealing with anxiety and body problems. after a week of training my energy started to feel much better I have been training with Master Ryan now for 5 months. He is very experienced and has a great understanding of body and energy and he creates a fun and relaxing atmosphere during the classes. I also had an operation on my leg half way through my 3 month membership and it was easy enough to pause and restart my membership by ringing up and sharing my case. I was able to resume my memberships after I had healed which was great for me as I didn't have to worry about wasting my membership during that time. I would very much recommend body and brain as it does well for the mind and soul
I've been attending classes for 5 months now and am really noticing the positive changes in my mental and physical wellbeing. Master Ryan is always interested in how the students are feeling and available after class to answer any questions or offer advice on individual problems. The classes are fun, the people friendly and its excellent value for money which is an extra bonus!
I have been training with Master Ryan for 18 months. He is deeply experienced and has a great understaning of the body and energy. He is fun , we laugh a lot and I have found him to be honest, kind and inspiring. There are many changes in body awareness. and Immune system and energy level have improved. It has felt like a coming home to myself with much fun and laughter.
Vary materialistic place. All they care is about money. They tried to convince me that I waisted my money when I bought a 20 classe pass valid for 6 months from another place and that I will be harming my body if I did not join the classes now! Trying to convince you how your body needs healing and that they are the only one who can do that! I was hooked and bought the 10 class pass and 1 class was already waisted on a compulsory 1 to 1 sessions for introducing the technique that could have easily done during group class time. During the 3 months, I was sick for 6 weeks because of COVID and other illnesses and when I finally showed up today to heal my body ‘as they claim’. I was not allowed in because my pass expired last week! No consideration to my sickness or that I already came. Not a professional way from a place that claims brain and body wellness! Overall, my experience was average, did not really enjoy the classes compared to my other yoga studio that I go to and I paid more than the price of 6 casual sessions but upfront! Not happy.
The class is great. The staff is kind. I enjoyed the training a lot and got the benefits. I feel much more relaxed and energized. Thank you.
We have been going to Body and Brain classes now for nearly 3 years. We love the variety of exercises that we are challenged to do which certainly help with our flexibility, strength and fitness. I lost 5kg in my first year. The new Master has brought a new enthusiasm to classes. The environment is also a big plus, nice people with loads of support. The variety is the key though, no routines like a gym so we strongly recommend Body and Brain to anyone wanting to have a fun time looking after their well being
I have the pleasure to attend Body & Brain yoga classes over the last two years. During that time, I have gained a lot of significant benefits for my health and wellbeing. As a software developer, I had a terrible posture with highly limited flexibility as well as I was always on tension to be a mum of two kids, working on the full-time job. And over time spent on regular exercises, I become more peaceful, energised and healthier. It is a rare opportunity in the area I live in to come into contact with someone like Body & Brain yoga staff. Their great respect for yoga and all other activities and techniques is unmatched. Because of their tai chi background and vast knowledge of eastern philosophy, their presence alone is peaceful and disciplined at the same time. Body and Brain yoga staff are incredibly aware of the mind-body connection. Their senses are highly attuned, and I can tell from watching them in class and exercise on their courses that they understand, feel and apply the profound healing benefits of yoga and other eastern practice beyond the physical realm. Their most significant advantage is in the variety of exercises and meditations which are selected and adjusted for the modern western lifestyle to give fast results in health and well-being improvement. Body and Brain yoga is one of the unique, genuine, loving and dedicated yoga practice I have met. It is with a deep conviction of the heart that I unconditional recommend this centre for training.
One of the most complete programs for de-stressing your mind and getting your body fit at the same time. As a natural health care practitioner and sports performance coach I have tried and looked at almost all health and fitness programs - Body and Brain is the most comprehensive and complete program I have found for myself and my patients. They even address organ and tummy health ! Come with an open mind and heart and you will leave feeling energetic, satisfied and very happy! Highly recommended by Dr Theresa Dobson and that is not an easy task !
I joined Body and Brain Yoga in May 2016 after seeing the 'glow' on a male colleague of mine. Within the first week I realized I had discovered a form of physical activity that I actually liked! Now my life has changed in ways I couldn't have imagined back in May. I have not only lost weight and feel more physically healthy, I have also gained a new emotional and spiritual equilibrium that was lacking before. The 'art' of Body and Brain is so simple and yet extremely effective. I have no trouble in pushing myself just that little bit more, and a little bit more. This is a lifetime practice, and the practices and principles of Body and Brain Yoga have become part of my daily living. Many thanks to Master Sooah and her wonderful team of special ladies.
