Fabulous coffee shop brilliant barista art on the coffees. Really great location, roof terrace provides stunning views. Good value for money Highly recommend popping in.
Really nice place for food and drinks. Amazing cake The upper terrace is only accessible by a staircase, perhaps a lift could be part of the future planning here? The views from the top were lovely. Not much of a view from the inside and it was a little loud with fan noises. The food was exceptional and there was a very reasonable wait for it to come. Paid about £15 each for a lunch and a hot drink. Toilets are large and accessible. Free parking directly outside for 5/6 cars or paid for parking through the summer on the beach front a minute walk away. Will be visiting again
Fabulous little cafe on the coast. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very dog friendly which is great. Smashing cup of cappuccino Brazilian 200 degrees, so good I had a second. We've been for breakfast a couple of times and the breakfast muffins are excellent, generous streaky bacon and crispy hash brown. A nice selection of treats to go with a cuppa too, cakes tasty with good variety. Parking limited to 4 2 are for disabled, but the car terrace is nearby and plentiful if you have the 'Apcoa' app. The cafe has WiFi and good toilet facilities handy for the nearby beach, or a nice walk behind the dunes in the nature reserve areas. New addition to the morning menu of a mini breakfast which is nice. Coffee is always good.
Visited the amazing Boatshed on bank holiday Monday and I was blown away by the modern and clean look, the tasty food and variety in menu, incredible drink options available, very reasonable prices and the FANTASTIC team. I definitely would recommend the ciabattas…the BEST I have ever tasted. Me and my family were only expecting to be able to walk our dog on the beach, but we were pleasantly surprised to see the new cafe and even more happy when we went in and were given a really warm welcome by all of the team. Thank you all so much for an amazing experience and for the lovely food and drinks…we cannot wait to visit again soon! Kid-friendliness: Lovely little menu for children was available. Parking: Parking on Huttoft Terrace and right next to the cafe too!
Visited yesterday when the easterly wind was in full force. Cafe nestled behind flood defence so no problem, we could still sit outside with dogs. Food and coffee was amazing, we will be back.
My wife and I have been regular customers since it opened we live close by so we are talking visiting once every other week. We walk from Sandilands to the Huttoft car park, and back, with a regular stop off at "The Vista ..." for a coffee and a snack. I can recommend the toasted teacakes very highly, but they do need extra butter! All the food, coffee and cakes that we have sampled are very good - highly recommended.
Visited this cafe several times now, I have to say it has been an excellent experience every time, lovely hot food, friendly staff, spotlessly clean. My bacon was super crispy..just the way I like it, thank you all x
okay I have to be honest here so bear with me. we came here because the chapel one was mad busy so rang ahead and lady said was busy but had tables so we thought let's do it. at our point in queue was okay and it wasn't mad busy so we checked menu. If am honest we was quite disappointed as not a lot of choice but I wanted a ciabata/panini anyway so it worked for me. We were 3 adults and 1 kid and spent over £40 for our order of 4 'meals' and drinks which tbh I thought was a bit mad for a coffee shop vibe but me mum paid so I allowed it. I did nearly get mad when the girl tried to say after we had done the whole order there were no ciabbata left so we could only have a 'warm roll' and I said to my mum no way is that worth £7.50 mad ting but then it was okay they had some so cool allow Anywho food comes out within 6min which fair you might be happy for but I find suspicious cause I'll do my own fancy stuff at home and know no way can be that fast so my ciabatta bacon and brie bacon clearly left over from morning and brie still cold in middle of a toasted bun not at all melted it was nice no lie but wasn't £7.50 nice, and it's nice cause of ingredients not cause of presentation etc My mum had ham and cheese and the ciabatta was toasted but the cheese was still just grated not at all melted which futher iterates my point toasting and presentation done separate which does effect end results and makes it cheap and blah. And my grandma had a prawn cocktail warm roll that wasn't warm. she wasn't best pleased but what she expect ordering that monstrosity anywho plates included salad plopped on no dressing and a couple of crisps. Jokes a side my point is if you had charged me maximum £4 for said each dish I would've allowed. The fact you're cheaging nearly double does not sit right, if you was chapel version then fair every time I been there I feel how much they care and still it's a mad price but you are paying for quality and taste so you allow it. Nothing about this £40+ bill was quality, even at £20 I think you'd be allowing it. All I'm tryna type is genuinely you need to rethink ya prices and if you're gonna trade off seascapes name ya need to send some of their staff to this one during peak season cause if not you'll sink. And be awful if you ended up known as sh1t seascape or something similar
Very nice place right by the beach, delicious food, great and welcoming atmosphere high recommended to visit on a sunny or rainy day. Ps Try the honey chilli chicken with cheesy loaded fries you'll thank me.Food: 5/5
This was our first visit to The Boatshed and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We’ll definitely be back. The staff were very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much.
