Great experience here on Sunday night. We got in nice and early, greeted by friendly staff who explained menu well and gave good recommendations. Enjoyed the bang bang chicken, korean sticky pork ribs added sticky rice, and briskey cheese dumplings! Ended the night with the ube halo halo and lychee coconut panna cotta. Delish! Initially went for the bbq but with only two people, decided to try the asian fusion with no regrets. Will go back with more people to try the platters. Thanks guys!
What a cool place! I had a quick trip to Auckland and this place was recommended. The vibe is awesome, great music, the decor is amazing, even the bathrooms are cool. The service was friendly and while there only seemed to be two servers for a busy resturant they kept things moving! The food, well worth the recommendation! The burgers were delicious, the duck fried rice... so good. I really enjoyed this visit and will be visiting on my next trip north!
I cant believe it has taken so long for us to dine in! We were seated in casual feeling seating amongst lush green plants. The atmosphere was awesome. Private but social, and the music not overwhelming. We ordered a serving of beef brisket loaded fries, and the sharing platter for 4. I was relieved how quickly the food came out because our 19 year old was hangry. Everything was superb. We only ate half of the servings so have another meal in the fridge for tomorrow. The kids loved it. The fresh papaya salad and gherkins were perfect dance partners for the tasty succulent meats. Service fast, staff superb. Great experience. Thankyou!
Have been regular visitors since opened and have always enjoyed our experience. We haven’t been since last year tho and I fully appreciate that times are tough and costs are rising all over the place and hospitality is brutal but tonight was disappointing. The sharing plate for 2 for $108 from memory was a real let down. While falling apart the ribs were also dry with a very tough bark, the pork belly slices were also dry and lack lustre, the brisket was fine but it feels like the love for the art of bbq is long gone compared to the quality of meat that used to be served in the earlier days. The fries were really unappetising and tasted like any average fish and chip shop chips. As hard as it is battling rising costs it’s also hard on a consumer choosing to spend money and support local and then to be really disappointednnThe service was very friendly and prompt and the food came very quicklynnMaybe it was just an off night but the passion behind the bbq doesn’t seem to be there now
