Blue Adventures offers Kitesurfing, Wakeboarding and Stand Up Paddleboarding Lessons, Tours and Camps in the Auckland & Matakana Coast region, New Zealand.

Story

Blue Adventures Watersports Centre is located on the beautiful Matakana Coast at 331 Omaha Flats Road, Omaha, approx. 60 km north of Auckland CBD. We are located on the waters edge of the Omaha Lagoon, a fantastic location for kitesurfing, paddleboarding and wakeboarding. Our lessons and tours can be run in several locations from Auckland City to Mangawhai, depending on wind, weather, tides and of course, your plans.

Our instructors are IKO and ISA qualified.

My wife had the best experience, Tony was awesome - he saved my bacon - very calm, very astute SUP Teacher that's for sure! We were late due to a crash blocking Matakana Road but he was able to be flexible and work around this without issues. He kitted us out with the gears, and took us straight to the estuary which was perfect for learning! We'll be back again, and I'm very keen on learning Kite Foiling next!
Blue Adventures / Tony were great, booked in wakeboarding session, excellent trainer, very calm, thought us patiently, good area for learning, failed attempts a few times from our end but made sure he gave us the best chance to learn and improve. Had a really good time, surely recommend his services and will be back for wing surfing lessons.
Great Kitesurfing lesson and coaching at Snells Beach. Emma had a lesson which got her doing her first transitions and I had some coaching which got me doing my first backroll kiteloops, we're both stoked! Great instructors, gear and location. Tony was really helpful, friendly, chilled and always happy to answer questions about gear, forecasts and conditions. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Keep up the awesome work! Riki & Emma
Awesome water sports school. Easy and fast booking and a great team. Had two amazing lesson with Lisa as instructor. Had so much fun the whole time... The pace of the lesson was good and the explanations were really great so we made a lot of progress.
Great kite experience. Looks like they have a few spots lined up depending on wind conditions, which is good for maximizing your chances of getting out. Tony & Tim were great. I rode at Snell's Beach, in the morning when the tide was up. Good shallow flat spot. Made progress with Tim doing toeside transitions. Would recommend for all skill levels.

Extremely good instructors We had Nigel, what a legend! who kept us safe, entertained and got us flying kites very well within two lessons. Can't wait for our next lesson so we can get the board skills down also! Thanks heaps guys, you rock!
Went into the shop looking for a beginners board to move on from a foam one. Tony picked out the perfect board for me. Couldn't have been happier. Will totally recommend you guys. Cheers
Beautiful place and awesome experience . . . We had so much fun paddleboarding with Blue Adventures at Omaha beach. The team really very helpful and so friendly. Beach and the view was amazing..!! Thank you for the great experience and will definitely go back again
The 3-day Kite Retreat was an awesome experience. We had a great time with Kite surfing, wakeboarding and stand-up paddeling. Highly recommended!
