A must stop in Greymouth. I enjoyed the best date scone in the world. I returned to the bakery for a 2nd one! Sarah's husband Matthew the baker a Blanchfield, creates these masterpieces. Sarah also recommended the pork belly pie - eager to try for lunch today. Ashley made the best flat white coffee as well. I recommend stopping at Blanchfields if you want the best food and customer experience!
Lovely little coffee shop. Lots of tasty food in cabinets and you can access the bakery through a shared opening. Lots of hot choices on a cold day including whitebait. I had chicken and corn soup. Lovely staff and service. Soup was chicken and corn chowder. Fantastic flavour and large serving. Really Tasty with crusty bread. Coffee was great as well.
Good and simple English breakfast. They have many options for pies. There is a little cafe next door. You can order food from either side of the shop and have it at the table. Coffee was good too. It’s probably a very local shop in town. Recommended if you want a Taste of traditional and local food.
Must stop if you like kiwi pies. The smoked brisket pie is incredible!! Great smoky taste with a nice spicy kick. Nice dining room for eat in.
Nice little place. Very good coffee. I enjoyed the pancakes with banana, bacon and maple syrup.
