Ordered the Fish of the day combo and it was good. The oil they use seems to be clean as I can tell by the color if it's old or new oil. Their Fried mussel had good rating and yes it deserves high rating. I recommend you try it. However, the chips - It's a typical straight, deep fried cut chips so nothing special.
The worst takeaways we have had. Disappointed as they had been good in the past. We are unsure what’s in the fish cakes, dark drown in colour, it’s not fish.
It was decent. I don't know how shops do not season their chips with anything after deep frying. The fish, potato fritters and fried sausage were delicious but they needed to be complimented by a few chips with at least a modicum of seasoning on them, either table salt, sea salt or chicken salt I don't mind but please use something. But other than that the product was well presented and reasonably priced. 3 stars.
Best fish n chips ever. Crispy batter delicious fresh fish. Great value for money. Very popular business.
In my 66 years on this earth I've never had a worse takeaway. Overcooked burnt spring roll..way undercooked warm sausage and the greasiest chips...and NO salt. It was absolutely horrible
